All families have their issues, and the Logan family is no different. They reside in the southern U.S. and the extended family has a slew of typical issues such as divorces, job firings and school pageants. After a few typical life events leave a few of the Logan siblings with their backs against the wall, they decide to take action.

Jimmy (Tatum), his brother Clyde (Driver) and sister Mellie (Keough) decide to face down their family curse as they set their sights on millions of dollars beneath the Charlotte Motor Speedway collected during a NASCAR race. This will require a complex plan and professionals to execute. They will have to work with what they have…

Logan Lucky is a very fun and funny crime extravaganza, full of noteworthy characters and zany antics. While the summary of the movie could be seen as very basic, the results of the script are impressive and play out in wild ways on screen.

This film’s energy crackles like lightning and is full of great lines and ridiculous situations. It is smartly scripted, and Soderbergh is comfortable behind the camera, especially with slick caper-type movies such as this one. The results are an all-around great time, full of amusement, surprise and memorable moments. The actors must have all enjoyed their characters, and superbly bring their entertaining roles to life.
