SO. You wanted more Wayne’s World, eh? You got it. Here comes part 2, put out about a year later, and featuring a bit of a dip in quality while offering more of our rambunctious buddies Wayne (Myers) and Garth (Carvey).

They are in new surroundings with an official babe lair. A swap between Plant World and Cooking World allowed our pair’s show to hit early this evening, so they can go to an Aerosmith concert. Party time! Excellent. And we’re out.

To the Mirthmobile, à la an Adam West fire pole. In the year passing, Wayne and Cassandra (Carrere) are still dating, and her record career is really taking off. Wayne himself is still looking to do something big, mega and extraordinary.

WPIG Aurora plays the rock hits on the radio while Wayne’s crew of buddies drive downtown to their show, with back stage laminates in hand. Where is the plot, you ask? Well, eventually there is one which entails creepo record exec Bobby Cahn (Walken) of Sharpe Records making moves on Cassandra. Sounds like the first one? Yep. But, there’s also a musical event, and lots of cameos. Sounds like the first one? Yep.

Was more Wayne’s World needed? Probably not, but it’s still okay despite the rehash of most things. It doesn’t do anything new for the most part, but if you enjoyed the first one you will probably find some mileage here. Come hit up WayneStock for a few good vibes and laughs.
