Bunker coworkers Sitterson (Jenkins) and Hadley (Whitford) discuss life and important shit. There is some pressure this year. Japan has a perfect record, and the U.S. sits at number two. Despite this important exposition, there are more important topics these men have to discuss, like power tools.
As we next meet our college kid focal points who are going away for a weekend to some creepy ass cabin in the woods, the presumption that a basic and dumb plot with trite characters and worn dialogue are all coming is fully incorrect.
All of the kids are sharp and likeable in their own way and style, while the story is more than meets the eye in many ways, which are all fun to find out. The plot itself eventually brings nice twists on horror tropes and delivers fun concepts which are all very well realized. It is expertly crafted.
I like all the people in this. There is fun energy with the story. This is a tough one to talk about, and in reality, the less you know, the better. It is fun, funny, bloody, dark, creepy, smart and creative. I love it.
