Oh wow, how to describe this amazing movie, without giving away the excellent plot lines? This will be a challenge…
Blind pianist Akash (Khurrana) lives a simple life after an accident in his childhood took away his vision. His plan to enhance his musical talent takes him to a small apartment on the outskirts of town where he can focus and practice for an upcoming concert in London.
Through a series of events, he winds up meeting a local famous actor from the 70s (Dhawan) who invites him to play nightly at his restaurant for a side job. Using the extra cash and practice, Akash enjoys his time at the restaurant, especially thanks to local restaurant cutie Sophie (Apte), the actor’s daughter.
In a strange turn of events, Akash winds up in a cat and mouse situation with some nefarious criminals, with knowledge of events that he should not have. This “knowledge” spins the plot into high gear, spinning multiple characters into a crazy whirlwind of ongoing criminal acts.
There is a lot of fun to be had here, and each continual crazy plot twist left me wanting more. For the most part, this movie works very well, and does not require too much of a stretch of the imagination to enjoy. Zany antics, crazy crimes and some dark humor mix together into a fantastic product. It is too much fun to skip, so tune in and have a blast.
