Bad Milo Poster

Here’s a hard one to describe the high-concept plot of, so let’s just go with: timid man Duncan (Marino) discovers that his stress-fueled bowel problems are actually in fact a shit-demon that is living inside his intestines. Shit-demon Milo escapes his body prison (through the butt of course) and takes care of life problems for his “owner” Duncan. This typically results in bloody murders and otherwise unexplained occurrences.

Still with me? Okay, good.

Despite that insanity of a plot, the cast is stacked and fantastic, fully able to land the comedy elements. While it may not be revered as a quality motion picture or win awards, the movie does exactly what it sets out to do, blending body-horror, gore and jokes seamlessly. It is sprinkled with great bit roles and funny lines.

It’s a short affair, which is probably for the best since the story can only go so far. Special effects are solid and there is plenty to make one squirm, as well as laugh.
